Can you briefly highlight your background and experience in piling?
“I’ve spent 33 years in the piling industry, starting as a pump operator in the early days and working my way up to a foreman. My career has taken me through some major players in the industry, such as the likes of Lang O’Rourke, where I was involved in significant projects like Farringdon. I also played a pivotal role in starting the rotary bored division at Van Elle. Most recently, I had the privilege of spearheading operations at Foundation Piling, where, in just two years, I achieved a remarkable surge in their turnover. I credit this success to building strong client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered exceptionally well.”
What inspired your decision to lead Dewey Group’s expansion into the Middle East?
“The Middle East holds incredible opportunities for growth, with numerous exciting projects on the horizon. My expertise in the piling industry presented a perfect match for Dewey Group to venture into this market and capitalise on these opportunities.”
How will you build strong partnerships within the Middle East’s engineering community?
“I’m fortunate to have many existing connections with leading clients and organisations in the Middle East due to my previous experience in the region, where I coordinated efforts among major contractors. Building partnerships is key, and we’ll continue to do so through delivering a reliable top notch service.”
