Scrumming it with the Locals

By 17/11/2017News

On Saturday 11th November, Andy, Billy and Gav took a group of selected London based clients to Twickenham Stadium, to watch England’s highly anticipated first match in the Autumn Internationals against Argentina.

During their time there, the attendees were lucky enough to experience an amazing hospitality service, with excellent seats and got to listen to special guest experiences from Ben Cohen, Brian Moore, Dylan Hartley, George Ford and Kyran Bracken.

They were part of a huge turnout of 81,683 spectators who witnessed England triumph 21- 8. This is very different from the first every rugby match held there in 1909, where there was less than 2,000 spectators.

The Twickenham venue holds a maximum capacity of 82,000 making it the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world. Interestingly however, it is not just a sporting area, within Twickenham stadium there is the World Rugby Museum, the Marriott Hotel and even a world-class Virgin Active gym.

Overall, a lovely day was had by all, with special thanks to all our clients that could make it.
